FAQ's

Q.  "Do you sell raw milk?"

A.  No, it is illegal to sell raw milk in Colorado.  We sell shares in our herd of dairy goats through a goat herd share program.

Q.  "What is a goat herd share program?"

A.  A herd share program allows you to own part of a herd without having to care for the goats yourself. You may purchase a share in our herd, which is made official with a bill of sale.  Each share purchased entitles you to a respective percentage of milk each week.  A contract is then signed in which we (God’s HOW Ranch, LLC) agree to board, feed, milk and care for your share of the herd for a monthly fee.

Q.  "How much does it cost to purchase a share?"

A.  One share costs $25.00.  This is a one time fee and is refundable if you sell it back to us.

Q.  "How much is the monthly boarding fee?"

A.  The monthly boarding fee is $40.00 per share.

Q.  "How much milk do I get each week?"

A.  Each share purchased entitles you to 1/28 of the milk produced by the herd. That will fluctuate based on many different factors.  At peak season, you can expect a gallon a week or more.  During the winter months when production drops because of breeding, weather, kidding, etc. you could get ½ gallon per week.

Q.  "Do you deliver?"

A. At this time we do not deliver.  However, share holders living near each other may be willing to co-op, taking turns picking up the milk each week.  Depending on how many people join each co-op, you may only need to drive out once a month (for four families), once every six weeks (for six families), etc.
